Yuyao Guo is an Assistant Research Fellow at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has served as the project or sub-project leader for several competitive and industry-funded research initiatives. These include grants from the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, projects from ministerial agencies, the General Program of the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation, and commissioned R&D projects from Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.

Dr. Guo has authored over 30 papers published in renowned international journals such as Laser & Photonics Reviews, APL Photonics, and Photonics Research, as well as presented at premier international conferences including ECOC, OFC, and CLEO. He has also filed nearly 10 invention patents.
