Doctoral Student Yihao Fan Attends the Optoelectronics and Communications Conference/International Conference on Photonics in Switching and Computing in Japan

Abstract:

The Optoelectronics and Communications Conference/International Conference on Photonics in Switching and Computing (OECC/PSC 2025) was held in Sapporo, Japan, on June 29, 2025. Doctoral student Yihao Fan from the research group attended the conference and engaged in on-site discussions regarding his research.

OECC/PSC 2025 aims to advance fundamental and applied research in optoelectronics and optical communications. As one of the most premier international conferences held annually in the Asia-Pacific region for researchers and engineers in optoelectronics, optical fiber transmission, and photonic network systems, it provides a foremost international forum for presenting and discussing advancements in these fields.

From June 29 to July 3, 2025, Yihao Fan participated in the conference in Sapporo, Japan, and delivered an oral presentation titled “Mitigating TPA-Induced Instability in III-V/Si Hybrid Lasers via Reverse-Biased PIN Junctions.” During the event, he exchanged ideas with fellow researchers in the field and gained insights into relevant progress from various domestic and international teams. Through attending presentations in related research areas, Yihao Fan broadened his research perspective and deepened his understanding of cutting-edge developments.
